Derived from hydrolysis of yeast. It is characterized by medium or high level of alpha-amino nitrogen (>2,3% or >4,8%), neutral pH, excellent solubility and heat stability.

Suggested Applications

Indicated in culture media, where it is added in small quantity (approximately 0,5%) to stimulate microbial growth. It can be used to replace meat extract.
