Soy peptone is an enzymatic digest of soybean flour. This peptone contains naturally occurring high concentrations of carbohydrates and proteins. Its average molecular weight is 5 kDa, with more than 25% below 1 kDa.

Suggested Applications

It can be applied for industrial fermentation of a wide variety of organisms, including fungi, for the preparation of antibiotics, extra-cellular proteins and many other metabolites. Excellent growth of E. coli, Salmonella, Bacillus, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus and Pseudomonas.
